i ve had a problem with my 93 f-150. when the brake is applied at any speed the truck starts to shake. i've changed the front pads and radius arm bushings, front shocks, rotors. wondering if it could be coming from the rear end. any info would be helpful.
When you changed the front shocks did you cut out the factory rubber bushings, and put in the new ones that came with the shocks? If you didn't, do it!
your rotors are probably warped. either have them turned, or replace them. when you changed the front pads, did you notice hot spots?by hot spots, I mean any discoloration. how many sets of pads have you put on the same rotors?
do you feel the pedal pulsate when this happens? could be rotors out of wack-new does not mean perfect-turn them if you feel the pedal move up and down as the brakes are applied--if not it's in the front end components tie rod would be my guess
