Fender rattle?
I have had a 96-f250 for 8 yrs now and it has always had a rattle in the Drivers side fender when you slam the door? And I have have never figured out what was causeing it? I just got a 97-f350 and it has the same rattle not always but most of the time when you shut the drivers door and even when your driving I hear it with the window down!! Anyone know what causes this? It drive me nuts I hate squeaks and rattles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now I have 2 trucks that rattle!!! UUUUGGGHHH

look up inside back of fender with door open. you'll see a plastic piece that is saposed to keep the water from getting on the inside front of door in the jamb . this piece is kinda just sitting there. it has a foam piece glued to it to hold it in place. they started useing it in 92. to remove it you have to mostly remove the fender. mabe you can figgure another way, my son's is still there, and makeing noise, on his 93, and 94. he just turns up the radio.
