heya peeps
i have a mark on my wheel. I cannot catch my finger nail or anytihng on it, looks like just a burn mark. What's this from, and do i need to worry?
I wouldn't worry to much about that I am looking more at the vane (where the 5 is on the date stamp) it looks like it is delaminating or a piece missing.
hey Jim, first, thanks so much for looking closely for me: i'm not seeing what you're seeing. I wonder if we can get a markup on it somehow, i don't know how to. anyone elseabout know how, or see what Jim's talking it that is more familiar with these than me ? (wouldn't take much!) Thanks for information before i have trouble!
Here is an animated .gif I made a while back with my stock & wicked wheel. You can clearly see the mark on the new WW, and the old, faded one on the stock wheel:
Good deal, Lee. I got mine off eBay for $235 shipped to my door. Since it will most likely require a rebuild, I wouldn't go much over $250. I also sniped mine with about 9 sec left on the auction. Almost forgot about it but managed to drop my bid in there with that amount of time left.
I did see a van turbo on e-bay #220421297469 it's at $149 right now 1day 10 hr left.it's worth a look
Good link Lee for those who are lookin'.

That's the bidding technique I use Joe. Get in my bid with seconds to go hopping no one else can get their's in. Sneaky aren't WE.
So...You're the guys out bidding me at the last second!
Well, now I know 2 of them.

The thing is a lot of people do the same thing. Timing is everything. They have their figure poised over the mouse at the same time you do. It's a matter of milliseconds. It beats getting into a bidding war. Just kick back and watch. I even set my cell phone alarm for about 5 minutes to go and get logged in and ready to pounce.
