hey guys i am going to be cutting down a 9 inch for my 65 wondering about the widths. are the demensions listed on page one correct and what am i measuring that to?

Why would you cut down a 9" for your truck? Correct width 9" are plentiful and cheaper than the cost of narrowing the housing and new/remachined axles?

i guess i just thought it would be cheaper to have the axles remachined as i plan on cutting the actual tubes. but if the correct width rears are as easy to find i might look into it
