I think the pad material is most important. I got some Brembo front rotors for around $80 each and the LTS pads from Hawke for $150... haven't had any problems yet.
The USPS cryo-treats their rotors, drums, plus their PADS and SHOES to get four times the life from those components. That means a lot when you have a high-mileage fleet as big as theirs. For me as an individual? That amount of money buys a few sets of rotors & pads ... more than I'll use while I own this truck ... so it's not worth it to me.
