I have a 94 f-150,tonight I went to turn truck off and it kept running even without key in ignition I had to tap brakes then it shut down it only did this scenario once, but now after driving truck the brake lights and signal lights blink 2-3 times after key is out of ignition.WTF is up is this truck possesed
ok,so after letting the truck sit overnight I went to start it and it fired up with no prob but the brake lights and signal lights randomly blink 3 times after truck is shut off,it appears though that it didnt draw power from battery overnight could this be a electrical issue?and if so wouldnt it have killed the battery overnight As Im new to the site i aapreciate any form of help I could run with in troubleshooting this issue
Random guess: the wiring in the column has chaffed so bad that there is a connection between the signals and the ignition. Tapping the brakes grounds it out and brings the truck to a halt. Check to see if the wiring under the dash is rubbing or maybe some animal got in and chewed it.
