Good info. I was going to install one after the oil cooler failed on our '05 but never did. Now have chocolate milkshake coolant again in the degas bottle so this will be a must when I get it back.

I just bought this truck a month ago. I just spent $2650 replacing the oil cooler and EGR cooler. From everything I have read on this site the filter pretty much eliminates the problems with the oil cooler and the oil cooler causing the EGR cooler to fail. Good Luck.
