I installed a coolant filter recently and everything went fine. Now the hose that tees into the heater hose is leaking really bad for some reason. It was good for 2 weeks and now it won't seal up (on the metal tube next to the alternator). I have the hose clamp on there tight. Also, when I tried to push on the hose it squirted coolant out which shouldn't be happening. I guess I will just buy a new hose. Two questions: I know its 3/4" but is it ID or OD? Also, how much coolant do I have to drain out to not make the huge mess I did last time?

Did you use a brass tee with barbs? If not, I'd replace and get screw down hose clamps as noted above.
Just replace coolant with g-05 type, 50/50 coolant and distiller water.
Or the T fitting is bad. You shouldn't have to over-torque anything for it to work properly.
The Sinister Diesel kit looks like it uses much better components than the kit I used.
Thought it was the stock tube...beside altenator? With stock squeeze clamp.... Per OP....
Yeah that's the tube, it might have had a squeeze clamp originally and the screw down clamp probably came with my kit. Anyways I got it fixed, just had to put a socket on the clamp to get it tight enough, I thought it was done when I couldn't turn the screwdriver but it needs to be tighter than that. I still think its weird that it was fine for 2 weeks but whatever. Thanks guys
