I have always replaced all plugs in my Ford trucks with Autolite's. I've generally found that at least with the newer ford motors you really do more harm than good by using anything else than the OEM plug. I just finished replacing the factory Ford plugs in my 2v V10 (same as yours) with Autolite AP103's (Single Platinum). You can also get Autolite Double Platinum's for a few dollars more (APP103).
The Autolite AP103 is identical to the Motocraft plug. From what I understand they are made on the exact same assembly line. I will say that aside from paint on the porcelain they looked the exact same to me.
Paying $16 per plug is insane. I picked up my AP103's at Walmart in sealed packages of 2 plugs for $4 per package.
I use the Motorcraft platinum, and like Mike, I believe they are the same as the Autolite.
I recall reading somewhere (take that with the grain of salt that it deserves) that the thread section is now plated with a material that is less likely to seize to the aluminum. Since I choose to use the dry install method (no added anti-seize), this is a good thing.
