Last 2009 order date?
Hi everybody:
just got my new 2009 F-250 with V10 engine. I posted many questions a while ago and thanks to everybody's help ordered a GREAT truck.
Now a friend in Washington State would like to get one two, he is currently on a over ten year old GMC truck. He cannot find out when the actual last date is a 2009 model can be ordered. He also cannot get information from the dealers when the new 2010 models can be ordered.
Can anybody help, please, last 2009 order date, and if there are no 2009 orders anymore when will the new 2010 models be available.

I am guessing the last order date has already passed since they shut the plants down the first week in July to retool for the new model year.
don't know 100% for sure it's past but I do know that july shut down is pretty much a set in stone deal.

According to another forum member here who can look up order information (he got me the vin # for the 09 I just ordered) says the last date for order was last friday. Not sure about ordering a 2010. The first dealer I went to 2-3 weeks ago said he thought they were done ordering 2009 and we already ordering 2010. But he didnt seem interesting in actually verifying 2009 books were closed so I went to the next dealer and ordered my truck lol. But even if they're taking 2010 orders thats going to be some wait to get it built and delivered...
