Well gonna set me up a set of bead loks this summer for winter wheelin. My buddies do the weld on rim type bead loks and work OK. They have issues but nothing crazy so far. Seen some nice beadloks and way to expensive and to small for what I was wanting to do. I gonna be doing something in the 16.5x12" wide rim. Probably a 40" or bigger tire for snow. I once seen a innertube setup once that was on the inside of rim and kept both beads seated. Do not remember the name of this company. Been a long time and looked pretty cool. Definetily like to check these guys out. If anybody know's their name. See ya'll soon.
These what you were looking for?
The 16.5" wheel is still not the best for this. Really single bead lock wheels are not all that expensive, especially when you can run 15" wheels and tires, so tires can be a little less expensive. This can offset the cost some.
i run weld on bead locks, they work great. and after i aired my tires down to 8 PSI i have not had any air leaks.. i Do have an idea about making some double internal beadlocks out of some spare parts i have left over from when i widened and added beadlocks to my rims.. i really think it would be an easy thing to do if i can get the rings made to bold the two halfs togeather.
