2010 Diesel

Jalopnik reports of a 2010 4.4 Litre Diesel, cranking out 350HP, & 450 f/lb's of torque, go to truckblog & click on the F150.

Do you have a link for this? I thought it was the general consensus that any plans for a half-ton diesel had been shelved indefinitely.

Me neither. I looked on Jalopnik too and came up with nothing, but when it comes to computers I can be a "dumb som'bi***".

Don't feel bad. I looked at everything I could find and I think the post above yours is spot-on...the article was written before everything was put on hold.

It's a shame they reportedly scrapped the diesel. BMW, VW, and Audi all make clean diesels in their cars now in the US and are boasting upwards of 50 mpg. I for one would CERTAINLY buy a F-150 clean diesel if they could boost the mpg's up into the upper 20's or low 30's. I would guess Ford would sell a ton of these if they were fuel efficient.
