It's a shame they reportedly scrapped the diesel. BMW, VW, and Audi all make clean diesels in their cars now in the US and are boasting upwards of 50 mpg. I for one would CERTAINLY buy a F-150 clean diesel if they could boost the mpg's up into the upper 20's or low 30's. I would guess Ford would sell a ton of these if they were fuel efficient.
Ford would sell a ton of these if they could get 25 mpg on them but the big problem is that it would cut into the profit on the superduty line. That in my opinion is part of the problem and has a little to do with shelving the whole thing. I myself would buy one in a second if they made them..
