Sold my Dmax for a 250
I just sold my 02 Duramax for a brand new 09 F250 XL supercab 4x4 short bed. I come from a family that drives all GM (with a father that works for ford!) I only sold my duramax because the injectors died on it a month out of warranty and GM found out I had a 5" turbo back exhuast on it and told me tuff luck. So I drove across the street and ordered up a 09 F250 XL with the 5.4L power everything the good head lights and the best non leather seats ford offers. Snow plow prep, off road 4x4 package trailer brake controller and the upfitter switches.
I've got a question for those that have the upfitter switches, I read that they were set up for 30 amp circuits, I ordered them for my Whelen TIR3 LED heads that only draw 3amps, how easy would it be to change out the fuses? Are the switches easy to wire up? Before I've always pulled the dash and installed my own switches. I've got 12 light heads and a bar to power off of the switches. (I do maintance for a railroad)

Here's some info on the upfitter switches. I think there are two 30A and two 10A switches. At least that is what my 05 has. Anyway this should help you,,, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...-switches.html
