Auxillary Back Up Lights

I have an extra set of lights hanging around that I bought for my 86 Iroc but never used them so I thought I would mount them and use them as back up lights. But my question is do I need a relay? If I do what amp relay would I need and should I have one for each or can I can wire them together?
Thanks

Yes, you need a relay to keep from damaging the back-up light switch. One common 30 amp foglamp type relay will work and you can wire them together, so long as they are not very large. 30 amps will handle about 360w of lamps.
