I got 17.25MPG running up 75 doing 75 for the first 5 1/2 hours of the trip. For the next 4 hours I got 16.75 doing between 60, 65 with the occasional 85 while passing. Topped off when I got ready to run home. The next 577 miles I got 16.88.
Overall I got better then a 1.5 MPG gain.. So Thank you DP, the 80 eco works!!!!
Drats, I only got 10 mpg. But I was towing 12k lbs of 5th wheel at 70 mph. Made a huge difference in 60 tow over the superchips tow safe. Not in mpg but in power. I wasn't sure I wanted to install the chip b4 the weekend because everything was ok as was. I'm really glad I did.
It was real easy on the ears...The egt was fantastic as well. I hope my truck enjoys this as much as I do..
Jason, that was hand calculated, using the GPS milage instead of the trucks, I am running roughly 7.6% faster then what my truck thinks I am.. So normally I do milage time's 1.076, then divide the amount of fuel into that. But since I was playing with the Garmin, I just used that milage.
