Very Hard Starting

06 6.0 stock 48000 miles. The other day it started. warm or cold,cold worse, go to start, cycle glow plugs, turn and turn and turn. I am starting to have to cycle glow plugg 2 or 3 times to strt even if engine warm???? please help. Thanks

I think the first thing you should do is load test the batteries. Most auto parts chains will do this for no charge.

It turns over great just wont start until 2nd or 3rd time

Are the batteries still the originals? If yes, I would still have them load-tested!! We understand they turn over the engine, they just may not turn it FAST enough.

had any voltage issues recently? could be a failing FICM.

Like everyone has said.. check the batteries. I have an 06 and one of my batteries went bad at about 60,000 and it took alot to start it. Changed out the battery and it ran fine for a few months. It started to crank for a long time again and it just wouldnt start. Just got a call from the dealership and it had a fitting on the back of the engine that was allowing air in the fuel system.
