Trans Gauges
Hey everybody, I'm looking to install a trans temp and/or trans pressure gauge in my truck, it's a 1999 f-150 5.4 auto. My question is where is the best place to put the sending units because i am clueless when it comes to automatic trannys

I don't see what a trans pressure gauge would do for you. If you really want one the only spot to install it is in the test port on the driver's side of the trans. It is towards the front, just above the pan.
A trans temp gauge is useful. That same port is where I recommend installing the sender.
