Lopsided truck

Hi,

My 2004 F250 cc diesel is one inch shorter on the driver side in the front and back than the passenger side. If you stand behind the truck and look at it from a distance it is noticeable. It drives fine and there is no extra stuff on the truck or in the bed. Looks crooked though. Any advice, thanks.

At first look I thought Cab mounts but that wouldn't effect the bed, you cound inspect the springs on that side and see if there are any cracked. My step father had a 94 f150 that had 2 cracked leaf springs on one side and it made the truck look lopsided, and I had the same thing happen to a 77 Chevy 3/4 ton I used to drive. I hauled a load of scrap metal for a buddy and it busted 2 springs on one side and 1 on the other.

Spring sag or broken leaf...If you put in an aftermarket lift kit.....like a pro comp..they are notorious for sagging uneven

Is the inherent with any lift kit? I was looking at a 4" kit from Pro Comp.

My opinion...stay away from pro comp. Invest in some sgood spring packs from a reputable maker if you can afford it. I have a 6" Donahoe Racing with DEAVER spring packs. A new company took over DR after they went Chapt 11. Worth the money.

I forgot ro mention....Although ALL springs sag/settle....don't let anybody fool you...the key is that they sag at a minimal rate and together/even.

You will not find that with a mass produced spring like pro comp, superlift etc. I have had my Deaver fornt and rear spring packs for 5 years now....NO SAGGING. If they did, I cannot tell
