How Big?

I had autoenginuity hooked up to the truck to enable and/or disable certain sensors and I noticed that I could re-calibrate the speedo for tires up to 40 and I was wondering how big can you go and get Ford to do it? I'm pretty sure it's less then 40, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks.

When I had my 35's on I used a laptop with IDS and a VCM and could not get it to accept anything less then 601 RPM's which is slightly smaller then your average 35" tire, so I just ended up leaving it at the factory setting...

Ford can do 600 rev's per mile or a little smaller than 35. My tuner can do up to 46" I believe and it's holding decently with the 36.5 I have programmed for my 315s.

That's what I thought that the dealership couldn't do up to 40. I wouldn't change out that stuff, I just thought it was neat that it would do that.

It's a limitation of the Ford tools, not the PCM itself. That's why AE can program to a 40" tire.

I was able to program mine for 36" tires, and it's now dead on accurate with my GPS.

I didn't mean to imply that it was the limitation to the PCM, otherwise, like you said, I wouldn't be able to do any better then Ford.
