I don't know about the stall speed, but the gear ratios on a C6 are:
1st - 2.46 : 1
2nd - 1.46 : 1
3rd - 1.00 : 1
I think reverse is the same as first, but don't quote me on that.

Just as a guess stock stall speed would be around 1600-1800 RPM.
Besides the stock ratios that The Law gave you, you can also purchase a wide ratio gear set from Ford Motorsports that will give you:
2.72:1 Low
1.54:1 Second
1:1 High
I installed one of these in an older F250 I had and it made quite a bit of differance when accelerating a heavy load from a dead start. It's roughly equivalent to having a 3.90 rear gear in first and second, but having a 3.55 gear in high. Deen
Deen, how much do those wide ratio gear sets run and how much trouble is it to install them? Is that just a good time to do a rebuild anyway? My C6 gets a case of the slips now and again, and I was thinking about doing a rebuild. If I could get lower gears, that'd be great.

I do not have a newer Ford Motorsport catologe but my 1999 book lists the base wide ratio kit at $325 and the needle bearing wide ratio kit running at $425. I also believe you can get a similar kit from TCI but for a couple hundred more. If you get a good rebuild manual and the base wide ratio kit you should be able to rebuild yourself. Call a couple of different vendors that deal with Ford SVO equipment, some will deal more than others on pricing. If you can do your own mechanical figure on $100-200 for new seals, frictions and steels, another $25. for tranny fluid, plus the cost of your wide ratio gear set.
P.S. If your not replacing your converter, take it down to a local tranny shop and have them flush it out before re-installing.
