fuel gauge problem

fuel gauge problem
Yesterday I had quarter tank of fuel. My g/f drove my truck and to be nice put 50 bucks in on her way home.The fuel gauge didnt move. This morning I drive it and it moved very slowly to half a tank.Ususally it rises very quick. This is very odd.
The truck is a 07, 6.0,crewcab,4X4 .
If it didnt move this morning I was going to check fuses to start with.
Anybody else experience this problem?

Mine does the exact same thing. I find that the longer it stays at a fuel condition less than full, the longer it sits there once you fill it up. I have no idea why it does it, but my Fire Department's F-550 mini pumper does the same thing, also.

Did she by chance have the key on while fueling up? Or even turned it on briefly while fueling up? I did this on my gasser one time and the fuel gauge was REALLY SLOW to rise to full. I've read several posts on here about this happening but I don't recall if any PSD owners have reported it.
