well guys, the IC will be going in right away when my truck is back from body shop. Injectors will be soon. With stock turbo, will stage 2 be too much?
no sir, longetivity will be the issue is all, my cusin has got 2's from rosewood and his still on stock turbo with up to 120hp tunes, and wevce done some stupid things witht hat truck lol his turbo is still tight as a drum, but his tranny isnt!
My biggest worry is egts. Cause even with the ic I am gonna be flowing lots of fuel. And I tow big loads regularly. I can't keep cool on any chip tune on a long hill as is.
Basicly Stage I's and Stage II's flow the same amount of fuel (160cc) the only differences between Stage I and II's is that II's will dump more fuel faster (larger nozzles) giving you more low end power (your not having to wait for the fuel to build).
If you talk to Tony and tell him your set up and what you want, I'm pretty sure that he can reburn your chip with a tow setting that will control the fuel and EGT's. Shoot him an email and find out.
not meaning to highjack this but yeah, luke, hows the powerpackage coming along? still watiing to hear about that beast, thanks for the turbo again bro, works great.
well i just sent them to jim and put 400 bucks into them so shoot me a price. Yes the hybrids are in but the firewall needs to be chaneled to fit.....just one thing after another so i havent driven it yet. Also to get back to the original thread my i liked my ones and they were good overall and the biggest reason i got rid of them was because they were screwin up so i figured why not go bigger, but also once you start modding you cant have enough power
