Wonder how it would look after a few thousand miles ?
Top idea if its stays relatively clear over time.

no kidding, looks like a great idea for sure but how does it hold up, how well does it hold a seal? If it holds up, stays pretty clear and hold a seal then this would be pretty need though I think up here in the north with all the cold temps here and there it would probably become brittle and break.

That thing can't be very strong, being clear like that. Not good for offroad. Not for me.

Neat find Ron but I would be worried about it changing colors like you mentioned.

My self I take my truck to the fields but there is no off roading I have ATVs for that.

I'd be a bit worried it says that it is polycarbonate iirc that is plexiglass. If it were Lexan now that would be a different story.

Now a set of valve covers that where see-thru would be fun. At the very least, when your UVCH came loose, you can see which one is bad without having to pull them.

I'm about to put my '08 diff cover on. Heading out right now to get lube & longer bolts.

Very true, Coat the insides with Rain-x????

Have fun with the diff cover. I love mine. Be patient with the install so you don't have any leaks.

Rain-X works with water -- not sure how well it would work with oil.
