Styleside Tailgate Hinge
On the 72' style side bed, is there supposed to be a rubber bushing between the tail gate and the hinge?

Yes, for 1967/72 F100/350 Stylesides
only.
Even though the 1967/72 hinges are the same as 1964/66 F100/250 2WD Stylesides (
C4TZ9943400A ), these inserts were not used on 1964/66's.
2) 373249S .. Tailgate Hinge "Anti-Rattle" Insert /
Obsolete
While this Ford part number is shown in the illustration section of the 1964/72 truck parts catalog, when you go to the text, it says:
"Improvise from foam rubber."
btw: The bed and tailgate are the same: 1967/72 F100/350 Styleside.

This is what FoMoCo said to do.
I searched for the above part number anyway...NO ONE had any.
