seat is about 48" wide, 24" tall. roughly 54" inside dimension from side to side. From where the spare tire sits to the other side, again inside roughly 49".
nice one. No I want to build what an excursion would like in the mid 70's. I'm using a 73-79 Crew cab Ranger XLT shell(whatever I use it will have a 76-77 front end with a 70 grill integrated in there) with a 99-03 250 Frame and drivetrain (of course it will be a 7.3 diesel and the newer frame will give it a better ride). I'm gonna merge the bed to the cab and put a roof on it (obviously ). I think I can use the roof from a 75-82ish van and i'm gonna use a 78-79 Bronco tailgate. I want to use seats from an excursion but have them recovered to look like the original ones (I dont know if you've ever sat in an older ford but they're uncomfortable as H#$$). This is gonna be a long process and I wont be starting it till next year but I just want to get stuff like these little things away.
Well if you can't find any excursion rear seats, there was a thread on here just a short while ago regarding the rear seats. Someone tried the rear seat from the expedition and they fit the same. (02 X with an 02 expy) Good luck with your build.
