Shadow Flame Prep

I have an '09 F150 Flame Blue color. I am thinking about having some shadow flames done to the hood. I am curious about the prep. Will the hood and fenders need to be scuffed or would the paint go right over the factory paint?

Obviously I'm not going to do this myself, but I'm just curious about prep.

Do you guys think that it would look good?

Thanks,
Aaron

Yes the paint will need to be scuffed, then the flames painted on, then cleared over. As for the looks, its hard to say because each painter has their own style and it just depends on what they do, what colors they are using. Maybe see if they have a computer program that they can modify a picture of your truck with what they are proposing to do. Its not perfect, but might be able to give you some info as far as what it might look lik painted.
