I just installed my second set of toyo's the other day. To say that I am pleased is probably an understatement. For such a large tire, these things ride great plus very little road noise. Not one of my tires took over 2.75 oz of weight to balance them out. One took only .5 oz. another only1.0 oz. If anyone is looking for a great tire I would recommend Toyo's. Oh yeah I got around 65,000 miles out of my last set. Just thought I would let you guys know.
Maybe I got lucky and got a good set. I do however to a lot of hwy driving. I don't know if that would make a difference or not.
I'm a bit **** when it comes to tire wear... and when I was sold the tires I was told they had a 40k warranty. At 30k miles I had the tread depth checked, and all 4 were just under the "recommend replacing" measurement, so I got them warrantied out for a new set. I probably could have got another 15k or so out of them, but at that point they would have been slicks. I ended up selling the truck about 5k miles after putting the new tires on I would own another set of them for sure, but I was surprised at how fast they seemed to wear. However, I notice myself saying that about any tire on a full-size truck these days.
