how to replace towing mirror
Guys, I need a little advice. Last night some jack_ss sheared off my driver's side towing mirror while driving by my truck which was parked on the street. I already have my glass replaced and have already ordered a replacement mirror (complete assembly) that will be here tomorrow. My question is how to remove the mirror and attach the new one. I can see the three plugs that you remove and I can remove the small panel clipped on the inside - what next?

New Mirror installation
Mirror removal is real easy on these trucks. Be ready to hold the mirror during removal and installation. I rolled down the window and held it with one hand while starting the nuts with a ratchet with the other. Use a 11mm 6 point deep socket and try like crazy not to let the nut fall into the door. They can disappear - don't ask me how I know this.
