Two-Piece Drive Shaft question

My truck has a two section drive shaft because of how long it is. So in the middle there is a support to hang it up from the ground. Inside, there is a rubber piece that goes in-between the frame strap and the bearing. It got messed up and got crewed up. Anyone know where I can get a new rubber piece before my pemporary shaft does the same thing? ( It may last only a few weeks.) If you need a picture, let me know.

The piece you are refering to is called a carrier bearing. Most auto parts stores will carry it. It is a complete assembly rubber and bearing as one

They usually run about $20 and aren't too difficult to install.

They also list them as center support bearings. I remember trying to look these up in the computer when I was in parts and it was always listed under that.
