Nothing too elaborate with mine. Brian is my first name and I had to differentiate me from all the other Brian's out there so I picked my favorite number "42". The 42 comes from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. 42 is the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything (it's a long story but the answer is 42).
I picked my name since I knew I wouldn't always have the same vehicle and I wanted something that would be descriptive no matter what I drove. I started my Ford career with a 1997 F-150 2wd (10 years ago). Now that I've got my dream truck, I'll be here for quite some time!
Well, I cant use my nickname from work, because I am one of those lucky type people that when someone asks for help getting a bolt out or a part off, I can usually do it in a matter of seconds (usually after they have fought it for an hour.) I just get funny looks from them, and usually they say something like "I tried that same thing and it didnt work," then I get called A-hole, then we laugh, its all in fun. But now it has stuck and I even answer to it at times.
Mine comes from one of the places I archery deer and bear hunt at. My full screen name started as Galiuro Mountain Man, but over the years I have gotten lazy and shortened it to GMM when registering.
First part occupation ( everybody got that ) 1406 was my call number on the fire ground for the first dept. I worked for, so if you called me on the radio it would go Command to FF 1406. Name stuck and use it for everything else.
Mine comes from the days when I had a heavy beard and a good buddy (The Turk) said I looked like a mountain man. He started calling me "madjak" and the name has stuck ever since.
One of my nicknames in high school was preppy. (oddly enough I had a few all at the same time)
Another buddy of mine was into burning stuff (he tried to light the school on fire, and he torched his own car for insurance, but a hell of a fun guy to drink beer with lol)
We called him pyro.
Anyways we were new to the internet and went into a tiger woods chatroom. We picked the name preppypyro cause there was two of us "chatting" and it just stuck with me.
