drivetrain lube
i have a 96 150 4x4. i.m putting new seal in tcase and resealing the rear differential. what kinds on fluids do i use, gear lube or ATF?
and how much?
oh ya, how do i tell if its a slip or fixed yoke tcase
have 8.8 rear adn 1356 manual shift tcase.

Not sure what to tell ya about the fluids, but a slip yoke will "slip" (slide) out of the back of the t-case along a splined shaft. The fixed yoke will have to be unbolted to be removed, or it may even be held in the t-case via some snap rings that would require a t-case rebuild to get to.
