ok guys i just graduated sunday and ended up with around $600. im trying to decide between stacks and a few other odd and end thinks or get a dp tuner. it already has a ts chip. is there alot of diff between a ts and dp as far as hp wise?
A set of gauges, pyro, boost and trans and an F-5 with just the right tunes may be around the 600.00 mark, maybe just a little more. Don't know anything about the TS chip, heard about it tho
I dont know about the difference between the TS chip and the DP horsepower wise as I am not familiar with the TS chip. But I will tell you there is no comparison between a superchips programmer and the DP. I love being able to switch between tunes on the fly with the DP as well. Not much help I know. Someone will be along shortly im sure with all the answers to your questions. I know alot of guys on here including myself swear by their DP.
Congrats on the graduation!! I would invest in a set of guages first. When you start moding the truck you want to be able to moniter what is going on. Where you have the TS chip already I would do Guages,Exhaust, then a DP-Tuner or a a reburn by Tony. In that order

i had the ts chip before i got the dp and there was a world of difference in the way my truck ran. i didnt know that i could get my ts reburnt till after i had recived my dp.
Seems like you got a chip that can be burned by another top expert here, Tony Wildman, I just learned something today. Your only half way there now. Congrats on your graduation.
TS Chip with Gearhead Automotive tunes just to throw a wrench in there just as good and cheaper then Tony's. I would stay away from stack IMHO, I believe you already have gauges in your truck don't you?
Neither. Stacks had their time.. i thought they were cool too back when i graduated, but two years later i hate them, at least on my truck... Send that TS chip to swampsdiesel.com, then when you get their injectors down the road it won't cost you ungodly fees to have it reburnt.
