A rodent/mouse chewed both wires (brown or tan and red) on center injector pass. side. Wires are cut real close to big bundle with about 3" pigtail on conn end at injector. Is the red wire a common wire as we can see 2 or 3 other inj wiring and each has a red wire? Wanted to splice it back at an easier point than where broken. It is a 4.0 awd.

 

Here's a diagram. It does look like red is a common wire to the injectors.
