$18k not installed ?I wonder what the difference is?
Like I said, it was more money, took longer to install.(than an above ground)
But when all is said and done,100 times easier than an above ground to work around.
Especially inside work.
I also like that it is "clear floor".
And when not in use I can park two cars on it.
The above ground models would not allow for that.
When the lift is down, cars out, The garage is basically clear from wall to wall for other things as well.
It even has a disply screen that tells you when maintenance is due.

18K plus install. Are you anywhere in the North East? I'd like to see one.
I repair garage equipment for a living mostly for Tire Kingdom and Tires Plus. Due to EPA issues they are not allowing anyone to install in-ground lifts anymore unless they have the electric pump and reservoir mounted above ground. The ones I repair are Western, Rotary, and Globe. The western's superstructure isn't the best quality. The arms slip and they tend to drop a lot of vehicles. That's the one Tire Kingdom gets because it's cheap. Not sure on prices though. All I do is repair.
