I would if it wasn't a long bed and $25K

Does that seem high ?

That it does, I'm not a fan of longbeds, but for a truck like that I can gladly look past it.

I'd probably give them $10K cash considering it's condition and mileage...

The truck is definitely overpriced. I'd say it's worth between $17K-$18K.

According to KBB, it's not over priced, they have it right at $25K suggested retail value!

That truck will be a permanent fixture there at that price. V10's are difficult to sell
even when gas is reasonable.
I agree with Furian on the 17-18K.

Saw an XLT 2005 V10 in the paper today, shortbed, crewcab, just like I want.

$24K with something like 60K miles.

OUTRAGEOUS I thought.

Too high. It's not a Lariat, doesn't have the trailer brake controller,etc...
It's also from Indiana,so it's possibly seen a bit of salt up in the north.
Even being a 4WD and only having 6500 miles on it-I'd still only be willing to pay 15-18K max.

In other words, pretty much a brand new truck. But with lower insurance and registration costs. Advertised prices are merely a starting point for negotiations, so someone is going to score!

And from what I've seen, demand for V10 is definitely going up.

Strange how it has the V10 but no trailer hitch!

Looks like a great truck otherwise...if I didn't just buy an '08, I'd seriously consider it....
