front end swap questions
howdy all, i recently came across someone who wants to get rid of a 78 bronco. i have a 95 bronc. i have always wanted to put a solid axle in my bronco. how hard would it be to swap the older solid axle into a newer style bronco? it seems like it should pretty much bolt up but im sure it wont be that easy. thanks in advance,

do a search on google for Bronco Solid Axle Swap, there are some forums specific to this task with parts break downs , prices and such. its not exactly bolt in a go, it will require some welding skills. another issue you would have is your 95 is ABS up front, the 78 diff is not. have you outgrown the TTB you have now?

It's a pain and expensive.. Not just a bolt and go or everyone would do it.
However you can buy a bolt on kit from cage or fabritech.. Both are between 1800 and 2k. All you need is to get the front axle.
