In the process of prepping things for my swap this year on my '95.
I am curious if anyone can tell me would it be possible to swap D44 spindles from a 1995 D44 TTB axle to a 1979 D44 solid axle?
*edit for clarification*
I want to unbolt the complete knuckle/spindle assembly off the 1995 TTB D44 axle, and swap on to the 1979 D44 solid axle. Reuse factory axle shafts.
Reason for spindle swap is I want to update to the 1995 caliper design vs the '79 setup. Don't see any major differences in the rotor.
*edit*
In looking at the knuckle U joints, I am seeing the same ones are used for the '79 and the '95.

Reason: Clarification of question.
it SHOULD interchange. but not positive.
i do know 87 D44 ifs parts bolted to a 73 D44 solid axle when we converted the 73 to 8 lug and used the parts from the 87 after putting a D-60 in the 87
I was reading last night about found some links on the full size bronco forum but not had a chance to look at it. Something to the effect some stuff will interchange but I want to say the actual knuckle itself is different.
I was really hoping to use my '95 disc brake setup on the '79 housing.
I did see some stuff on adapting chevy 8 lug D44 stuff but why would a guy want to run 8 lug on a D44??
