There is SP fluid being made by many manufacturers now, so I would think the only way you could get free fluid is if Ford was the only manufacturer which it is not.

Really?.... i searched everywhere. Could you please post who make a "approved" SP fluid. I know its not Amsoil.

According to Redline their D6 ATF meets Mercon SP standards.

fluid type

check out the thread were I started posting on this subject it seemed to have fizziled so I started a new one. Its titile is "transmission service" a fellow on there seemed to stated that even Amzoil backed off thier claim to have a compatable fluid.There seems to be a lot misconceptions out there on this subject. I dont even have one of these rigs and somebody needs to get to the bottom of this. the thead is from a few days ago . I still have the numbers if you cant find it
