5.4L Roars on Start Up

hey ladies and gents, Its John here i have a question for you all. When i start the truck when its cold, usually in the morning it starts fine but once it fires it roars to 1500-1750 rpm but then it goes down to 1000 till it warms up and then idles around 750 have no idea what is the problem, Help please!!

Completely normal.
It would be a problem if it didn't do that.

thanks i didnt think it was anything but it only does it sometimes so i was just wondering what ya'll thought.
