Roaring Noise?

I have a roaring noise sometimes when I first start the truck in the morning and pull out of the driveway. It only last about 10 seconds once you start speeding up. It sounds like its coming from under the hood on the drivers side. Anybody ever experienced this?

It is normal, it is the clutch fan coming on for a few. I think it is like a self test.

You can expect to hear it a little more if you are towing and it is real heavy load.
