that would be my guess Rick. that intake is a non intercooler intake. Out of the turbo and straight to the heads. but it appears to have an EBPV and I thought vans didn't have those. as Timmy Wilson sayys " I could be wrong". Barney
Dan, how did you see a fuel pump in that picture?? 1st generation powerstroke was my first thought also but I couldn't see enough detail to verify. Barney

I didn't, I just know that they are there on the OBS.
Are there some PSD's that have that sort of intake, but with an electric pump on the frame?
you guys are on top of your game. thats why i come here for info about a 99-03 7.3, cause that looks like a diesel to me. the spider does not look the same but other than that you got me.
OBS type or not, that's pretty cheap... Too bad it's mis-represented as an '01. But for $800, you could take the accessories off your later engine when you're done building that one into a monster PSD.....
EDIT: I thought about replying to the ad -- has anyone done that?? Maybe whoever listed it was duped into thinking it was an '01.
When did they change from 2 UVCH connectors to 1? I noticed that engine has 2. Could be a van engine, but turbine housing has early model flange. OBS waterpump, unless it had been changed out. Oil pressure switch "speaks" OBS, too. Everything seems to point to an OBS engine.
