Ive herd of larger servos of certin years and clutch drums that hold more clutches and lower 1st and second gear and updated bushings. I gess what I need is a book or web site on this. Thanks in advance for any help. Leadmic
I had my C-6 for my FE built up for my 360 in my 1970 F-100. It was rebuilt 10 years ago and still smokes them up
I had the same guy build up my C-6 that is behind my 460 (400+ hp) powered Bronco.
He used a TransGo "tow-truck" C-6 kit, with heavy duty everything! He also installed the AOD 1st/2nd planetary gear set, giving you a 2.73 1st and a 1.54 2nd. I would also recommend getting a TCI Truckmaster torque converter.
