Thanks again for the info.I don,t know what I am going to do with it for sure yet either.
I am almost finished missing with this Mustang and want to get back to the truck.
I might just leave it stock. From what I hear this is a good mileage engine.Which they built to move a big old town car.It should move my old truck just fine.
But............I do have to say.I am happy with the results of the Gt40P heads and the cam change in the Mustang.
I was trying to make up my mind to keep the fuel injection or go carb.Well I got the engine setting in the frame. When I set the upper intake on,it would hit my brake master,so...............I am going to got with a carb on the engine.
The upper portion of the EFI intake is reversable you know.. did you try both orientations?
I checked that. The two center bolts are offset from each other.I do understand I could use a Mustang but I have decided to go with a carb.
I do have another question.I have an old 76 302 also.I want to use the front cover so I can go with a manual fuel pump.
Will the eccentric for the fuel pump bolt up to the roller cam in this block?
I do have another question.
I took the intake off the town car engine and................one of the intake bolts broke.
I got the head off and am going to drill it from the back. But I happened to think I have the heads off the older 302.
They are D8OE.If you guys had to pick between the D8OE or E6,s.Which would you go with?
The only other mod is ,I plan on using my old 94 GT mustang cam.
.........Edit,Never mind.I just saw that one of the D8,s had an broken exhaust bolt.I did the old weld a nut on it and it broke off again.
I welded a nut on the e6 head intake bolt and got the torch on the back side of the bolt and was able to turn it right out.
