May 13--Hi. Does anyone have a recommendation for a manual steering box rebuilder/shop? While I drive a 1951 F1, the box in question belongs to my other illness, a 1950 ****** jeepster convertible, 2WD. I'm in Sacramento, CA. Thanks, Gene

There should be a good shop in Sac, and if not down in the San Jose area. If you don't get any other responses, I know of a place here in Socal (either San Diego, LA or in between - I'll have to dig out the card)

 

Do you know a guy in Sac named Chuck Bombola? If he can't do it, I bet he knows somebody. Jag

 

No, I don't. There's a Gamboa's AutoBody, does great work and painting, but will look in phone book for a Bombola. Thanks for tip. Gene
