transmission rebuild
Any suggestions on where to get my '90 F-250 auto transmission rebuilt in Northern Calif. around Sacramento.
Only estimaste I have is from a transmission shop. They quotes $1,300 to $1,500.

I don't live in Cali, but I've have my tranny rebulit twice. The #1 lesson I learned was to talk to everyone before having it rebuilt. I've got a E4OD in my 1991 F250 and have had many problems with it. If you have the same tranny and want to keep the truck for a while I would consider an ATS replacement.
