What ATF
I just got a rebuilt C4 tranny for my 77 F100 and the sheet that came with it gives conflicting info on what ATF to use. It says that Ford 1961-1981 use type F but also says 1977-1981 use type CJ, so what should I use in this tranny? Could I use some of the newer synthetic stuff? Thanks in advance tweetch

What ATF
If your using Ford clutches and most all aftermarket kits use the newer fluids, I'd use Mercon 3.
