I have a 1984 f-250 x-tra cab it has a 460 in it & its a automatic. The cab is all screwed up it has missing vacum lines. The tag is missing so how do i tell what carb it is?The like act's like it's flooding when i floor.
There might be a number on the air horn or choke flap (In addition to those that I can
partially see on the front fuel bowl) the googling of which may yield you some more info.
In your first picture, On the front of the carb is one gas supply line, in the same place on the rear of the carb is another tube sticking out, I think that should have a gas supply line hooked there! Someone needs to back that up! (I ain't no carb guru)
From what I can tell it looks like a float bowl, I think I even see the float adjuster and float level plugs.
I may very well be VERY WRONG!
[edit]
And I think I am... I just saw the gas hardline on the drivers side... What I thought was the supply line must be something else!
Should of bypassed this one, I'm no carb. guru.

ya u need to put fuel to the back, when u punch that gas and open up those vac secondarys all yoru doing is Leaning it out to much, just adding more air to the mixture. I hope no dirt got in that second bowl in the back cause then your gonna have more problems.
Just get fuel to the back bowl where that big tube is just like on the front of the carb, second plug up any vac lines on it that aren't used, a auto part store should have a lil kit with random vac plugs u can buy.

GOOD LUCK!
Doyou mean this big tube in the rear.
The one in the just sits off to the side should i hook to the back?
I am not sure that is for gas supply... Not sure what it's for. (It's what I thought at first)
Wish I could edit this pic, On the front lower drivers side there is a metal line attached to the carb., that is the supply line to the primary's, Is there one like it to the rear of the carb., can't see the drivers side of the carb. in any of the pics.
ya that one that you have outlined, ur gonna have to get some type of spilter to take one hose to two inlets though
Festus if it were a single inlet type with a tube going to the back. The inlet for the front bowl would usually be on the side, unlike this one which is in the middle on the front and rear bowl. So thats why IMO i'm sure thats for a fuel line to.

Then one line thas cap to the left of the choke has threads could this be the inlet for the secondarys. I will take some better pics today.

That is for a crankcase breather or PCV valve, one or the other. In all Holleys I've
seen, the fuel supply to the secondaries is on the left (driver's) side of the carb. but I'm
not gonna claim to be a 4180 expert.
There should be a vacuum hose routing diagram on the radiator support under the hood.
