Boost issues
I have a 2003 f350 with 105k miles on it. I have had very little issues with the motor. I started having problems pulliing trailers in which i loose power and i start to hear the turbo making a huffing noise in the air intake. It is like the turbo is stalling or maybe the waste gate is making rapid movements and dumping the boost pressure off. My experience running big trucks on dyno's tells me it is probably dumping the boost off and i can hear the turbo in the intake rapidly slowing down. It will do it for a while and then you let off of it and slowly start to step back on the throttle and it will sometimes come out of it. I have new a new air filter, new fuel and oil . Anybody have any ideas. I have very little experience in the smaller diesel engines. I dont have this chipped or anything like that. It is strickly stock.
Also i am looking to put a new exhaust on from the cat back. Anybody have any suggestions on that on where to buy it. Also looking to add a guage cluster on the left window post with some guages to monitor some pressures and exhaust temp. Where would i go for that.

I am not sure if you have the 7.3L or 6.0L but you would do better if you copy and paste your post in the correct section. The guys would be happy to help. Post down there and I will see what I can do. If its a 7.3L it might be turbo surge. I can also help you on the exhuast or anything else diesel related. Good Luck
