cool guys, thanks for the info. i'm not sure if this was ever a "motor home" unless someone cleaned the inside out and put a big wrap around coach in her lol.
thanks for the pics mr mayo, i know what i'm lookin at now lol.
denverslim: JUNK!! you've been hangin round your wife too much, they are called lawn ornaments...haha
and stephen, your right, it does have touring america on it. too bad it prob cost 20 bucks to go 10 miles lol.
If you want a new one a dealer here has several sitting on the lot that were never sold. Have no idea what he wants for them, they have been sitting there for years
Man...I haven't seen one of those in a 'coons age...
Growin' up...a friend of my Dad's had one of them things
and all I really remember is...packin' a BUCNH of people in
it and crusin' up-north (MI slang for road-trip)...
53rat: i already have a bag kit(a couple actually)
2 2600lb bags, 2 2500lb bags(slam specialties) 2 viair 450's, 1 9gal tank(7 port), all copper line, 8 1/2inch parker valves rated at 750psi. i have a few switch boxes layin around from previous trucks but i think i'm gonna do something different with the switches, i havent decided if i'm even gonna use all 8 valves, i might just use 4 and go with front and back, instead of FBSS. i just cant decide where to mount the switches, or to use a switch box.... you have bags 53rat?
No bags for me...yet. I can't make up mind how to lower it. I know I will eventually want to bag it but just changing out the springs is so much cheaper. By the way I dig your F1, with the chop, grille, and stance. Sick combo!!!!
can you say GAME DAY? Get her running, update the wires, install a 60 inch LCD and sound system, then pack your buds into the van and go tailgating at the local spot!
thanks 53, i'll like the stance more when it lays body lol.
whenever you bag it and you got any questions hit me up, i've bagged many of many trucks.
oh and a tip, when you bag it, dont buy a "kit", buy things individual, so you can build it exactly how you want it, and go to your local big truck shop, they carry airline(dot approved), bags, and some even carry valves, tanks and guages. the tanks arnt the multi port tanks, but you can tap into it and weld a nut to the tank for more ports. and its normally alot cheaper buying them there than from those companys that cater to air ride kits for trucks(its the same stuff). and you can get copper airline at lowes.
its always good to find out where all your local big truck shops are, you never know when your going to bust a piece of airline, and all of them carry it.
lol, i know i've been thinkin about that thing all night!! we can start a FTE cross country tour

If you do buy it, there is a shop out here in So. Cal. that specializes in those FWD coaches. Might be a source of info and parts. I can fwd you the info when you get it.
Have you ever seen the movie "Stripes"? If not check it out...there's one of these RVs in that movie that kicks butt. And the movie is really funny too.
in all my cabover conceptualizing, I researched these a very little bit. they do have a very cultic group of fanatic followers. I'd venture to say that you could multiply your money parting that thing out on upay.
JML
ya'know i have seen stripes, i guess its been along time cause i dont remember it lol. i've got it on Vhs somewhere, but i dont own a vhs player anymore lol
i think i'm gonna let her sit where she is, i've got no room for her, plus i'd rather spend the money on my 52 theres still a list of parts i'd love to have.
my number one being a steering wheel now, they make or break interiors, and my truck barely has one lol. i've got it narrowed to two, just cant make up my mind. might post the pics later and let everyone else decide
