Check out the resistor block that is in the heater airbox. Its located on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine compartment. It can get corroded, either at the connector or the resitor coils may have bad connections. Its easy and inexpensive to replace.
Thanx Michigan66, it appears the resistor block is below the blower motor? I'll check it out. I did a little searching and evidently high speed does not use the resistor block but mine won't work on any speed. That's kind of why I need a manual or schematic.
I will indeed unplug/check the resistor block though because I should have voltage there at least at lower speeds. Thanks again.
Thanx man, it was actually the 10A fuse inside the cab. In my owners manual I seen the 40A fuse for the blower motor in the engine compartment, but yep there is a 10A fuse,#2, in the fuse panel. It's for the Daytime Running Lights, Back-up Lights, Transmission, Passenger Air Bag Deactivation Switch, and the..........DOH!!!!! Blower Motor Relay.
My truck doesn't have daytime running lights and I have no idea what it's for on the transmission but my blower works now. Thanks all !!!!!!!!!!!
